Bad haircut? How to avoid it
Sometimes what the groomer considers a good result may not match the owner's expectations. The client ends up disappointed that it doesn't match their vision. So how can misunderstandings be avoided?
1. Prepare in advance. Find photos of styles you like. Show them to the groomer before starting.
2. Discuss the details. Describe your pet's temperament and what is important to you (e.g. keeping the fur long on the ears or shaving the paw pads).
3. Trust the experience. If the groomer suggests a different option (due to coat type, matting or breed characteristics), listen. Sometimes the "perfect" look from a photo is not technically achievable.
4. Don't be afraid to ask questions. A professional groomer will always explain why they choose a particular technique.
At our salon we always agree on the final cost and result before starting. If it becomes necessary to change the plan during the procedure (e.g. removing large mats), we will always inform you and seek your consent first. Your peace of mind and satisfaction are our primary goal.
